Well before MMS's incorporation in
1989, Wylie Mitchell had been providing professional metal fabrication, welding, heavy equipment operation and general contractor work
throughout the States of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana on a
very large number of various military/civic government, commercial and private jobs for
H&L Construction Co., Emcon, Inc. & Mitchell Enterprises, Inc. out of our home base in Sherman, Texas. As the needs to expand our specialized services grew throughout the early 1990's, Mitchell Metal Shop was born from there...
Since then, Mitchell Metal Shop has worked on special projects where professional welding and metal works ranging from large to smaller scale needs arise. From U.S. Corp of Engineers, Civil and US Government projects such as military bases, state border facilities, fire houses, public schools, hospitals, churches, public transit projects and office buildings to laying/repair of gas/oil pipeline and pump jacks weld repair throughout the North Texas oil fields to many other various commercial projects and also for the private farm/home owner needs -ranging from farm equipment repair, pipe fencing, barns, sheds, vehicles, trailers, hand railing, metal yard/wall art, martial arts training devices and amateur astronomical equipment such as pier posts and telescope mounting plates.
